I would like to talk to someone at NEPAS but do not want you to contact me at home.

 NEPAS would never contact anyone without the person’s prior consent. NEPAS are aware that some people may not have told members of their family about their adoption background or they may not have told their adoptive parents that they are considering searching for members of their birth family. If a person leaves contact details with NEPAS they will always be asked whether there are any restrictions about making contact using these details e.g. is it alright to leave a message saying NEPAS has called. Also, the NEPAS telephone number cannot be retrieved via the 1471 facility.
